Eastside Companies & New Castle County Paramedics just cleared a motor vehicle collision at N DuPont Highway @ School Lane. One patient was removed & transported via Delaware State Police Helicopter & one patient was transported by Ambulance to the Trauma Center.

Santa was out and about tonight in our response area. We will be back out again Thursday night starting at 6:00 pm

Companies just picked up from Box 2210 for a small fire in the ceiling of a private dwelling. The State Fire Marshall’s office is investigating.

Eastside Companies are currently operating on Box 1810 with a basement fire in the Boothhurst Section of New Castle.

Holloway Terrace, Minquadale & Salem County Rescue 7 removed one from a collision involving a tractor trailer on the Southbound span of the Delaware Memorial Bridge this afternoon. The patient was transported to the trauma center with minor injuries.

Eastside Companies were alerted for a subject trapped in a lift gate on a commercial vehicle. Companies removed one who was flown to the trauma center for treatment & evaluation. Chief 208B Emmell had the Holloway Terrace Command.

Engine 22 is currently covering Odessa Fire Station 24 while they operate at a working fire in the 600 block of Port Penn Rd.

Minquadale & Minquas units were alerted for a motor vehicle collision on I-295 NB this morning. Rescue Co 23 removed one patient who refused service.

Engine 22 is currently covering Salem County, Deepwater Co 7 while they operate at a fire in Pilesgrove Township.

On May 5,2023 at 2124 hours, Engine 22 was alerted to assist Holloway Terrace Fire Company on a working motel fire. Engine 22 arrived as the first due engine to find a two-story motel with smoke showing. Prior to fire department arrival, bystanders had some of the fire extinguished. Engine 22 pulled a 300? hand line to extinguish the remaining fire which extended into the attic space. Units operated for over an hour.
