Eastside Companies operated on Box 2015 for a small fire in a Private Dwelling in the Collins Park section of New Castle. Units operated for about an hour. One patient was transported for smoke inhalation. Chief 18 (Majewski) had the Holloway Terrace Command.

Engine & Ambulance B22 responded to an MVC with an overturned vehicle, with one patient reported in trauma arrest, on North DuPont Highway and W Franklin Avenue. A total of two patients were transported to the trauma center.

Eastside Companies were alerted for a house fire in the Garfield Park section of New Castle. Engine 22 arrived with smoke showing. Companies found a heater fire with no extension. Deputy Chief 23 (Hamm) had the Minquadale Command

Engine 22 operated on Box 2516 for a 1 alarm fire in a Private Dwelling as the 3rd Due Engine. The NORDEL companies were committed on another 2 Alarm Fire. Battalion 13 (Haley) had the Greenmount Command.

Engine & Chief 22 responded on Box 1120 in Holly Oak Manor for a reported Structure Fire with Hazardous Materials incident. New Castle County Police were called to check on the welfare of the occupants and found that there had been a fire in the home and reported two fatalities. New Castle County Hazardous Materials Team & DNREC were called to the scene for air monitoring. The incident is under investigation by the Delaware State Fire Marshall’s Office & New Castle County Police. Deputy Chief 11 had the Brandywine Hundred Command.

Companies were alerted for Box 1810 this afternoon for a report of a kitchen fire in the unit block of Megginson Ave in New Castle Manor. Squad 18 arrived with smoke showing. Engine 22 arrived as the second due Engine & picked up Squad 18’s split lay. One patient was transported with burns to the Trauma Center by Ambulance B30 & New Castle County Medic 1B. The box was held to 2 & 2. The fire is under investigation by the Delaware State Fire Marshall’s Office. Chief 22 held the New Castle Command.

Engine 22 & Ambulance 22 responded to 25 calls for service during yesterday storm from tree & wires down, flooded basements, cars in floodwater, ceiling collapse, fire alarm & a couple Box Alarms.

Eastside Companies & New Castle County Paramedics just cleared a motor vehicle collision at N DuPont Highway @ School Lane. One patient was removed & transported via Delaware State Police Helicopter & one patient was transported by Ambulance to the Trauma Center.

Companies just picked up from Box 2210 for a small fire in the ceiling of a private dwelling. The State Fire Marshall’s office is investigating.

Eastside Companies are currently operating on Box 1810 with a basement fire in the Boothhurst Section of New Castle.

Holloway Terrace, Minquadale & Salem County Rescue 7 removed one from a collision involving a tractor trailer on the Southbound span of the Delaware Memorial Bridge this afternoon. The patient was transported to the trauma center with minor injuries.
