Units were alerted at 04:46 for Box 2210 for a reported fire inside the house. Rescue Engine 22 arrived @ 04:48 with smoke showing as the first due Engine. Crews found a bedroom on fire on the second floor. While operating in the fire room Rescue Engine 22 nozzle man fell through a hole in the floor and declared a Mayday. He was quickly removed by the companies working on Division 2. The fire had also extended into the attic space. A 2nd Alarm was transmitted for manpower due to the temperatures and poor road conditions in the neighborhood. The searches all proved negative. The incident was placed under control @ 06:08 hours. A total of 3 occupants & 1 firemen were transported to the hospital for minor injuries. Deputy 20 (Emmell) had the Minquadale Command. The fire is under investigation by the State Fire Marshall’s Office.
